About David

David brings to his practice over 30 years experience working with individuals, couples, families, and groups within a wide variety of contexts. These include parish ministry; community based and self help programs; residential disability support services; acute, chronic, rehabilitation, aged care and mental health facilities.

As an ordained Minister of the Uniting Church in Australia, he has been in active ministry for over 30 years, including 18 years as Chaplain to Barwon Health and St John of God Hospital Geelong.

David is a former accredited clinical pastoral supervisor and Past President of the Association for Supervised Pastoral Education in Australia (ASPEA Inc. - now ASACPEV Inc.). He is an Honorary Fellow of ASACPEV Inc. After completing his supervisory training at Austin Health (Melbourne) he established the Barwon Health (Geelong) Centre for Clinical Pastoral Education and was appointed its inaugural Director in 2002.
